About Us

Meal Service is part of Region Service.

Common to the area is that we develop and deliver support and service functions to healthcare operations within Region Blekinge. In the department in Karlskrona, an engaged team of 22 chefs works year-round to prepare nutritious and delicious meals for both our care departments and our restaurant, which is also open to the public.

About the Job

As a chef in our central kitchen in Karlskrona, your task is to provide our care departments and restaurant guests with tasty meals. You will work in a team where you together produce hot meals in a canteen system, pack goods for delivery to departments, work with serving in the restaurant, and perform common tasks such as dishwashing and cleaning. With a sharp focus on hygiene and quality, we carefully follow our routines and our self-control program. Your role involves regular contact with both internal and external customers, which requires a willingness to provide top-class service and a structured approach to work. About You

We are looking for someone who has a completed and approved chef education or equivalent competence that the employer assesses as equivalent. We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience working in a large kitchen as well as with special diets, food allergies, and intolerances. You are a structured and meticulous person who is passionate about creating good flavors and enjoys working in a team. Your service mindset and positive attitude make you a valued colleague, and you agree with us that work should be fun!
